These two maps together cover all of New England, extending from Long Island Sound north to the Canadian border. Each presents good detail of the river systems, topography, and county boundaries. County seats are located and named, while other towns and settlements are numbered. These town names can be derived from a combination of the town number and location coordinates listed on the accompanying index pages. The first map also features an inset of the Boston area.
