A handsome map of the environs of Paris, centered on the Seine River. It is fully engraved to show numerous towns and villages represented by tiny buildings and churches, several forests, and the fortified city of St. Denis. Paris is depicted with a small but highly detailed bird's-eye plan with several named locations. A compass rose orients north to the top left corner of the sheet.
