"I'd like to make a comment, if I may, as a director of web design. Your auction site is very good. You probably know that, but as a professional in the field I can say with authority (oh, yeah, here it comes!) that I really enjoy visiting the site. It's easy to navigate and I really like being able to browse the maps. You've done a great job. So, there. You have my Seal of Approval, and that's not easy to earn!" BF - US see more...

Thanks to everyone for your participation in Auction 124 - we hope you enjoyed the auction and found something to add to your collection!

  • What did I win? Click here to view your Bidding Status or Invoice page. Immediately following the auction we coordinate with our consignors to identify items with bids near their reserve. Any items accepted at the current under-reserve bid will be changed to sold. Please note that any items not making reserve are immediately available for purchase by any bidder at the reserve price.

When your invoice is complete you will receive an email notice. You are requested to verify your shipping information and payment method before any items are shipped.

  • When will my items ship? Once you have verified payment and shipping information, your invoice will be processed. If you authorize credit card payment your items will be shipped within a few days. Otherwise, shipment will be made on receipt of payment. Invoices are due on receipt and we appreciate your prompt payment. At the time of shipment you will receive an email with the ship date, method of shipping and a tracking number.

  • Our Next Auction: Auction 125 is scheduled to close on Wednesday, September 24, 2008. The catalog will be on the website about two weeks before this date.

  • Old World Auctions is a mail/internet auction only - we do not have a floor auction. Our customers and bidders include dealers, collectors, museums, libraries, designers, decorators, and genealogists as well as people simply looking for an antique map of their state, country or the world. We hope you will join us.
