Very detailed copper engraved map still bound in the original January 1747 issue. Bowen credits Delisle and de Maurepas's Chart of ye Western Ocean for much of the coastal detail. Map extends to include Nice, Dunkirk, Savoy and Switzerland. Large, decorative cartouche and compass rose. A handsome chart that is not listed in Jolly's reference.
