Despite the title, this map covers the entire western Mediterranean with emphasis on northwest Africa from Morocco to Tripoli. The entire bottom part of the map is filled with a huge title cartouche representing the spread of Christianity into the Dark Continent.

Condition: B

Crisp impression and lovely color. Repair on centerfold including a couple of letters of neat facsimile in the title cartouche. Tear in top margin, just reaching neatline.
