A nice map from the first printed "pocket" atlas. It depicts the German Empire extending from Belgium through Poland and from the Alps to the North and Baltic Seas. The land is shown with anthill style mountain ranges and large rivers with cities represented by tiny castles. Filled with ancient place names.
