The world on Mercator's projection with fine detail throughout. In the oceans are directions of winds and currents, scores of ship routes, magnetic pole, etc. Inland are major cities, watershed and much topography. Hand coloring indicates the ownership by nine different colonial powers throughout the world. Absolutely filled with information.

Precisely engraved and good color. A little surface soiling and a few tiny marginal tears with old repairs.
