A fascinating map that gives an idea of how people planned their holidays in 1912. Covers the region from Long Island and New York City north to Maine and into New Brunswick and westward to Montreal and Sarasota Springs. The region is literally covered by railroads. Large inset: "American Switzerland as reached by the Boston & Maine R.R." Original paper covers, titled "The Vacation Land" (detached) are included.
