A very fine map of Israel by the elder Visscher. North is oriented to the left with a lovely compass rose. The map is filled with graphic topography and beautifully embellished with a vignette of the crucifixion, several ships, angels and a handsome title cartouche featuring Visscher's fisherman symbol.
