Great selection of decorative maps from the eastern, southeastern and central regions of France. 1) Dept. de la Loire in the Loire Valley is decorated with livestock, fruit, allegorical figures and castles. 2) Dept. de l' Ardeche is garlanded with fabric, representing the silk and cotton textiles of the region. 3) Dept. de l' Isere features grapes, livestock and industrial metal production. 4) Dept. de la Drome features lovely decorations of the region's produce of honey, black truffles, and game and is surmounted by a bust of Championnet, a general from the French Revolution. 5) Dept. du Puy de Dome features the mountains, fruit and game as well as a portrait of native son Blaise Pascal. 6) Dept. du Cantal is beautifully decorated with images of the beauty of the region, its abundant game, local inhabitants and livestock. Size varies slightly.
