Uncommon sea chart showing the Grand Banks off the coast of Newfoundland. The title cartouche is richly decorated with fishing scenes and the handsome chart includes soundings, loxodromic lines, compass roses and a sailing ship.

Condition: B

Crisp impression and lovely original color with some oxidation and light foxing. Backed with Japanese tissue, reinforcing minor cracks in the cartouche.
