Uncommon map with interesting western territories. Dakotah incorporates the territory between Minnesota and the Missouri River. The large Nebraska Territory has its western border in the Rocky Mountains adjoining Washington, Oregon and Utah. Nevada is shown with its eastern border nearly on the shores of the Great Salt Lake, while Utah incorporates most of present-day Colorado with its eastern boundary adjoining Kansas and Nebraska. Arizona is shown in its Confederate Territory form located below New Mexico Territory. The map shows particularly good topographical detail.
