Boldly engraved map that details the travels of St. Peter & St. Paul throughout the Eastern Mediterranean. Two large and detailed insets, one of Jerusalem (Hierusalem Occidens) and another of the Israeli tribal areas (In hac Iudaa tabula Iesu Christi Salvatris...). Decorative cartouche with Jesus carrying the cross with St. Peter and St. Paul at the sides.

Condition: B

On thick paper with a magnificent, large watermark. Light tide mark at lower cartouche and some surface soiling. Trimmed to neatline and completely re-margined, probably for inclusion in a composite atlas.
