Pair of delicately engraved maps of the famous Champagne region. Locates hundreds of villages and towns with nice topographical detail and fine rococo-style cartouches entwined with grapevines. Robert de Vaugondy's Atlas Universel was one of the most successful and enduring works of the latter part of the eighteenth century.
