This is a very rare sea chart depicting the southern part of South America. The chart is crisply engraved with sparse details. Falkland Sound is shown but the islands are incomplete. The large compass roses and rhumb lines orient the chart and are its only embellishment.

Condition: C

Evenly toned with numerous edge tears, some just entering the chart and some chipping along top edge. Would benefit from professional conservation.
