Nice pair of unusual maps that cover Belgium and The Netherlands along with the adjoining parts of German and France. The maps provide an excellent view of the region at the turn of the nineteenth century with particular emphasis on the roads and distances between towns. First is by Charles Oudiette, circa 1794. Second is by Charles Leclercq, dated 1825.
