Attractive and large map depicting South East Asia from Pakistan and India across to China and the Maldives to New Guinea, also including Taiwan and the Philippines. The map is adorned with a decorative, military-themed title cartouche topped with a coat of arms, with a second title running along the top of both sheets. The map is printed on two sheets that measure (34 x 19.8") when joined.

Dark impression and original color. Wormholes throughout map that have been repaired with archival tape on the verso. Damp stains confined mostly to the margins. There is some doodling on the map contemporary to the time it was made, with a delicately drawn frog near the Philippines.
