A terrific, large map of the Iberian peninsula includes the Balearic Islands and part of the northern coast of Africa. This highly detailed example is filled with place names, roads, rivers, and churches. There is a large, and very attractive landscape title cartouche decorated with a cherub holding two crests, and a scene of a massive fleet of ships and soldiers preparing to board them.

Condition: B+

On thick paper with large watermark. A couple foxing spots and a small abraded area above cartouche. Long centerfold split expertly repaired on verso. Modern coloring.
