Finely engraved and detailed map showing numerous place names, topography, Indian tribes and more. A note locates the discoveries of McKenzie and Hearne in the late 18th century. In the northern part of a large Louisiana is a note locating the "Villages of the Tall Indians and Manders". The "Stony Mountains stretch in nearly a straight line from the Arctic Circle to Mexico, continuing to Panama. Extends to include the Sandwich Islands.
