Four joined sheets make up this map of the United States and provide an excellent view, particularly of the American West with its large western territories; Missouri, Minnesota, Indian, Oregon, Utah, and New Mexico. The boundary with British Columbia is correct and the boundary with Mexico is on the Gila River, pre-Gadsden Purchase. A key shows the states and territories, with number of counties and their size and population as of 1850. Published by Carl Flemming.
