This uncommon, bird's eye view of Santa Rosa in Sonoma county was published by a realtor, Guy E. Grosse in order to stimulate growth in the area. The view shows 18 attractive vignettes of landmarks around town, while the key at the bottom of the view locates 52 places and buildings of interest within the view. The vignettes include The Court House, Eagle Hotel, City Hall and Library, New York Hotel, J. H. Glenn's Block 4th Street, Office of Sonoma Democrat, the Republican Office, the Atheneum and the Fashion Stable. Published by Ellicot & Co. in Oakland, California.
