An attractive and uncommon map of the Middle East, including Cyprus, a portion of the Persian Gulf and the north shore of the Red Sea filled with details of Old Testament locations, including Babel and Nineveh. This is a variant issue, decorated with a compass rose and caliper scale at upper corners, rather than the coat-of-arms and expulsion vignette.

An attractive example with vibrant later color. There is a hole on the centerfold that has been repaired on the verso with paper and archival tape.
