Salomon's Temple dominates in this bird's-eye plan of ancient Jerusalem. The plan is largely imaginary, but contains an amazing amount of detail. The title cartouche is contained in a banner held aloft by angels. The Dutch text on verso includes a key to 80 locations numbered on the view. This is the first state.
