This copper engraved map covers southern China through the Malaysian peninsula and the Straits of Sincapora. The mythical Chaammay Lake is located above the Tropic of Cancer, although it is no longer the headwaters of the region's major rivers. The map is quite detailed and reflects the growing British interest in the region.
