This detailed view portrays Samboupo on the island of Celebes (Sulawesi) in today's Indonesia. The bird's-eye perspective of the city includes the fort and hundreds of individual houses and buildings. The foreground is filled with numerous sailing ships and local boats. Below the map is an extensive key in Dutch that locates and describes 16 places and buildings.
