This is a fine detailed map of the Duchy of Brunswick-Lüneburg. Centered roughly on Hanover, this map covers the region from the Elbe River in the north to Kassel in the south. During this period the House of Hanover held the monarchy of Great Britain in addition to this historic German ducal state.

Original outline color. There is faint toning and offsetting and a marginal tear that just enters the border at right.
