This striking map covers the extent of the Turkish Empire, extending to Greece, Arabia and Libya, with the Caspian and Black Seas and the eastern Mediterranean. The map is filled with details of towns, rivers and mountains. The gorgeous, large title cartouche featuring the emperor, merchants, soldiers and a lion was engraved by Abraham Drentwet, Jr.

Original color. The small margins have minor loss in the bottom corners nearly touching the neatlines. A tear into the border at the bottom centerfold is repaired on verso with old paper and there are a couple short tears in the bottom blank margin.
