This lot contains three Salt Lake City related items. The first is Salt Lake City. - From a Photograph by F.J. Monsen & Co., Salt Lake City., Harper's Weekly, 1886, (13.6 x 9.2"). This is a south looking view looking down Main Street for the roof-top vantage point of the unfinished east towers of the Salt Lake Temple with the Wasatch Mountains in the distance. The article on verso "Salt Lake City" fills 10.5 column inches. Also on the verso is an early illustrated 1/4 page advertisement by Westinghouse Electric Company for their "16 candle-power lamp."

The next two are stereo-cards. The first is the East Side Salt Lake City., by C.R. Savage, circa 1880's, (6 x 3.2"), the second is Mammoth Organ Tabernacle. 48 feet high, 33 ft wide. Contains 3,200 pipes., by Chas W. Carter, circa 1880-85,(6.2 x 3.2"). Published by Savage or the Savage Pioneer Art Gallery.
