This fine chart of Peloponessos is beautifully engraved and filled with information including the fortified cities. The large pictorial title cartouche features the sword-brandishing Lion of Venice with a group of Turkish prisoners, commemorating the Venetian triumph against the Ottoman Empire in 1688. The sea is embellished with numerous ships including three graphic sea battles.
