Overall the maps show some light browning. The map of North America has a three-inch tear in the lower right portion of the image but is isolated to the Atlantic Ocean. The United States map has a one-inch tear near the centerfold confined to the Gulf of Mexico. A few of the other maps have small edge tears confined to the blank margins. The boards show wear, the hinge is starting and there are some pencil notations on the verso of some maps - all very common for this type of book.
