This whimsical celestial chart illustrates Tycho Brahe's cosmological system describing the complex movements of Venus and Mercury as viewed from earth. The center of the chart is filled with a delightful scene of cherubs swinging through the clouds. Two text panels at lower corners describe the movements of the planets.

Condition: B+

Watermarked paper with light toning along the edge of the sheet, and a small repaired hole along centerfold at top with a small amount of title in facsimile.
