A striking map of southern France including the French Riviera from Saulec and Narbone to just east of the mouth of the Rhone with the cities of Avignon and Arles. It is decorated with a sailing ship, compass rose, title and distance scale cartouches and a fine coat of arms. French text on verso.

There are a few edge tears confined to the blank margins and some light toning primarily along the edge of the sheet. An ownership label is adhered to the lower right corner, well away from the image.
