This large, detailed chart of St. John's Harbor is filled with information. Inland detail includes street names, building names, docks and contour lines indicating topography. In the harbor, hundreds of soundings are noted as well as two large compass roses including magnetic north. Surveyed under the direction of J.W.F. Combe. Originally engraved in 1914 with small corrections in the 1940's and 1950's.
