This illustrated title page depicts a classical building, supported by Corinthian columns and filled with figural statues along both the roof and facade. Scholars and cherubs fill the foreground. Helios riding a horse-drawn chariot bursts from the sun, while another god rides a chariot led by bats. Smaller vignettes flanking the title make reference to astronomy, mathematics, and cartography.

A fine impression with a few unobtrusive spots. A chip in bottom left corner and one ink mark in bottom right corner, both far from image.
