This colorful and highly detailed map of Tokyo and Yokohama shows roads, docks and waterways. It is surrounded by 39 scenes of important buildings and places around the city. Includes an inset map and numerous tables. Japanese maps from the Meiji period incorporate western cartographic elements, such as the large compass rose, into the traditional Japanese cartographic style. Folds into orange paper boards.
