This first edition map is on a full folio sheet (20.5 x 16.5") with surrounding text describing boundaries, climate, chief towns, religion, commerce, government, and history. The map delineates thirteen counties, and highlights the two principle battle sites of Hubbardstown and Bennington with small red flags. Drawn by Fielding Lucas Jr. and engraved by Young and Delleker.

Light offsetting and toning with centerfold separations at top and bottom that extend to the map border. Two light damp stains are in the upper border.
