A handsome map of the Hungarian Empire, stretching from Vienna in the west to Belgrade in the east. The rivers in the region are prominently depicted, in addition to hundreds of towns, forests and the topography of the land. The representative coat of arms is shown in each region. At bottom right is a depiction of the Battle of Dobor between an army of crusaders led by Emperor Sigismund and the Croats and Bosnians. The map is decorated with several strapwork cartouches and a 32-point compass rose orienting north to the upper left of the map. French text on verso.
