A handsome map of the modern Netherlands, fully engraved with towns, political boundaries, mountains, marshes, and the extensive river system in the region. The elaborate title cartouche is surrounded by mythical figures, including Mercury, Neptune, a female figure representing Geography, the angel of Fame, and putti. The distance scale supports a small inset showing the area around Maastricht.

Lovely original color that has been partially refreshed, light soiling, a professionally repaired centerfold separation at bottom, and light damp stains at far right and left.
