This is the second state of this plan published in the October 1760 issue of London Magazine, distinguished from the first state by the lack of date along the top neatline and the rounded "V" in the title. In addition to the city's fortifications, various gardens, a Jesuit church and convent, an arsenal, the general hospital, a marketplace, and more are depicted. The St. Lawrence River runs along the bottom of the plan. An inset at top right provides a view of the city with numbers that correspond to a key on an opposing page of text (not included here).
