This small promotional map depicts the city of Pacific Grove, located between Monterey and Point Pinos. It shows the location of the hotel grounds featuring Hotel Del Monte, several parks, and plots of land ready for development. The verso contains text extolling the virtues of the hotel and grounds, comparing it to Nantucket and Martha's Vineyard but is "kept open all the year round." The circa date is based upon meteorological observations reported on verso from 1880-1883. Published by Crocker & Co's Print, San Francisco.
