This elaborate, large-scale map covers the region from Riga south to Vienna and from the Baltic Sea east to the Dnieper River and the Black Sea. It is based on Sanson's cartography, and is richly engraved to delineate towns, rivers, lakes, mountain ranges and forested areas. Decorated by an elaborate title cartouche and scale of miles. Two sheets joined, as issued.

A dark impression on watermarked paper with original outline color. There are two light damp stains in the title above the map image, otherwise fine.
