This densely engraved map of the Tuscany region is based on the work of Sanson and is filled with information on towns, political boundaries, roads, rivers, and topography. The map extends from La Spezia to Gaeta along the western coast and from Ferrera to Lanciano along the eastern coast, and includes a portion of Corsica. Large towns are depicted as miniature bird's-eye plans. The map is adorned with a religious-themed title cartouche. An alternate title appears above the map: "Estat du Grand Duc de Toscane, &c. Estats de l'Eglise." Printed on two separate sheets.
