This map shows the tracks of both William Gosse and Egerton Warburton in orange and red hand color. Each was tasked with attempting to find a route from Central Australia to Perth, with Gosse having been instructed to avoid the other party. Gosse's more complicated route prevented him from reaching the final destination, but he instead discovered the massive Ayers Rock (Uluru). Includes an inset of Sydney and Port Jackson at bottom.
