This lovely view of Paris on two joined sheets is shown from an elevated point looking towards the southwest, over the extensive, fortified Hospitale de St. Louis. Notre Dame is just left of center and the Bastille is at the far left. In the foreground, the artist can be seen drawing the panorama of the city. A numbered key at the bottom lists 56 important places within Paris.

A nice impression, issued folding on watermarked paper. There are archival repairs to a long fold separation, a couple of tiny holes along the right-hand fold, and some edge tears and chips mostly confined to the blank margins.
