This lot consists of six early views of China depicting several important towns and sites and four plates depicting various wildlife including fish, birds, reptiles and mammals. All were published in the fifth volume of Histoire Generale des Voyages with the exception of the reptile plate, which was published in the fourth volume (Africa).
