A. Christian Endeavor Guide Map of Denver, dated 1903 (15.0 x 12.9"). This map of the city shows the street grid pattern with a key at right identifying churches, hotels and public buildings. The verso includes a printed seal identifying that the map was produced for the Christian Endeavor's "21st International Biennial Convention" held from July 9th-13th, 1903. This organization, founded in 1881, is still active today under the name Young People's Society of Christian Endeavour. Condition: Issued folding with some minor creasing.
B. Rand McNally Handy Railroad Map Colorado, dated 1929 (11.3 x 8.3"). This basic map shows the railroad network in the state including the Union Pacific, Santa Fe, Rock Island and Burlington lines to name a few. The verso contains a "Railroad Mileage Table for Colorado" and list of railroads. Includes a 6-page index. Folds into red paper wrappers (4.2 x 6.5"). Condition: The map is clean and bright with some light show-through of text on verso. Minor soiling to covers.
