This uncommon map depicts a trade route from Amsterdam to Bandar Abbas in present-day Iran. The route begins over sea to the White Sea and then heads south through Moscow and Astrakhan on the Caspian Sea, and ending in Gamron (the former Dutch name for Bandar Abbas). There is extensive along the route, whereas the remainder of the map depicts only minimal information on rivers and mountains.
