This uncommon bird's-eye plan depicts Odessa on the northwestern coast of the Black Sea. The city is shown in a block-pattern style, with a fort just outside the city. The Gulf of Odessa is filled with depth soundings. Captain Kit Kapp attributed this map to Franz Anton Schraembl, but we could not find any confirmation of this.

A nice impression on paper with an "Al Terazzo" watermark, issued folding and now flattened with very minor soiling. There is binding trim at bottom left that has been replaced with old paper and an associated 1/2" binding tear that has been professionally repaired.
