This lot includes three interesting, decorative charts featuring various cartographic diagrams. The first is centered on an elaborate wind rose with astronomical diagrams flanked with panels of French text. The other pair of attractive diagrams show various cartographic theories and projections. Each is surrounded in a rococo style border printed from a separate plate featuring a small vignette at bottom center depicting students studying geography and cartographic instruments. The charts are flanked by panels of French text that were pasted onto the sheet.

On watermarked paper. All three sheets have light soiling with minor toning along the centerfold and edges of the sheet. A faint damp stain enters the border on the third sheet.
