This book compiles Christopher Columbus's first-hand accounts of his four voyages. It includes the journals from his first and third voyages, his letters about the first and fourth voyage, and the account of his second voyage by Andres Benaldez, an ecclesiastic and historian Columbus shared his journals with upon his return. The book includes five maps tracking Columbus's voyages in red, one of which is a fold-out. Translated and edited by Cecil Jane, who also wrote the lengthy introduction and notes. One of only 1050 copies, printed on fine Japanese vellum. 347 pp. Hardbound in gray cloth backed in white, with a coat-of-arms impressed into the front cover and gilt titles on spine.

Contents are very good with light toning, a touch of soiling, and some minor scattered foxing along the edges. Covers have minor shelf wear, and there is light soiling on the spine.
